Fix Ryujinx Canary problems
Start with the common failure mode, then roll back, reset, or switch settings carefully instead of changing everything at once.
App will not start on Windows
Install the .NET Desktop Runtime named in the error, allow the app in Windows Security if quarantined, and only bypass SmartScreen for files from the official release host.
A Canary update broke something
Open the Canary or Stable release list, choose an older tag, download the same platform asset, and keep old archives until a new build is proven safe for your games.
Wrong asset or CPU
x64 and arm64 builds are different. Most Windows/Linux PCs and Steam Deck use x64. ARM64 packages are only for ARM devices.
Linux or Steam Deck friction
Mark AppImage files executable, do first setup in Desktop Mode, and try a fresh config folder if an old setup blocks launch.
Graphics, sound, or input issues
Try Vulkan vs OpenGL, update GPU drivers, recheck controller mapping, and test with default settings before enabling mods or advanced options.
